I am broadly interested in systematics (the discovery of the diversity and evolutionary history of organisms) and population and evolutionary ecology, with emphasis on phylogeography (the study of the geographical distribution of genealogical lineages, especially those of intraspecific populations), and snake feeding ecology. Although I am not limited taxonomically, most of my study taxa are squamate reptiles and anurans. My ongoing research projects include:
